Scottish Record for Leith during Freestyle Heats

David Leith (City of Edinburgh Swimming) broke the Scottish record during the heats of the 100m freestyle on day five of the British Championships/Olympic Trials taking place at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

The 28-year old finished tenth overall in a new National standard of 50.43. His previous best time was swam at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Trials.
