Kris Gilchrist progressed from the heats today in the 200m Breaststroke to the semi-final stage which will be televised at 0347 on Wednesday morning both on BBC and Eurosport.

The finals and semi-finals session starts at 0300 GMT and will also feature Ellen Gandy GBR in the 200m Butterfly. Ellen who is now based in Melbourne has been training with the City of Edinburgh Swimming squad over the last few weeks.
There is Scottish interest in the Men's 4 x 200m Freestyle relay with 3 Scots in the line up - David Carry, Andrew Hunter and Robbie Renwick, Hannah Miley in the semis of the 200m Individual medley and Caitlin McClatchey in the 200m Freestyle final.
