In a finals session with Olympic, European and World finalists appearing in most finals, the highlight of the evening for the Edinburgh Squad was the third place, behind the double Olympic and World Champion Kitajima of Japan,in the 200m Breaststroke by Kris Gilchrist in a time of 2:14.68 Megan Gilchrist bettered her 16 year Scottish Age Group record in the 800m freestyle to finish in 7th place overall and 2nd in her age group in a time of 8:53.51. Robyn Matthews time of 9:00.16 placed her 10th overall and top in the 1991 age group.
