4 Age Group Records for Megan Gilchrist at ASA Nationals

CES Megan Gilchrist broke 4 Scottish National Age Group Records (16yrs) in the 200m and 800m Freestyle events.

In the final of the 800m Megan shaved another four seconds off the record she set in the heats, finishing in a time of 8:44.57 (6th place).

A short while later the 16 year set the new record time of 2:03.20 in the 200 freestyle. She improved her record in the final, when she swam 2:02.70 for 8th place.

Megan will race the 400 freestyle on the last day of the competition.
